How to install the Fetish Fantasy Series – Fantasy Bondage Swing:
- You can install the eyelet bolt either into the underside wooden frame of a doorway OR into a ceiling beam. Doorframe installation is easiest, but this will limit your range of motion. Installing the eyelet bolt into the ceiling beam is recommended for the best experience with your bondage swing.
For doorways:
- Locate the centre of the wooden doorway and mark a spot on the underside of the doorframe.
- Drill a 5/16″ pilot hole where you marked.
- Screw the sharp eyelet bolt in by tapping the head of the bolt with a hammer and twisting the screw until all of the thread is concealed. Use the hammer claw to help turn the eyelet bolt into the wood.
For ceilings:
- Locate a beam in your ceiling using a stud finder, which you can find at any hardware store. Make sure the swing’s final position will give you enough clearance from surrounding walls or furniture.
- Find the centre of the beam and mark the spot.
- Drill a 5/16″ pilot hole where you marked.
- Screw the sharp eyelet bolt in by tapping the head of the bolt with a hammer and twisting the screw until all of the thread is concealed. Use the hammer claw to help turn the eyelet bolt into the wood.
Hanging the Swing:
- If the weight of the swing is less than 200lbs (90kg), use the Torsion Spring provided. If the weight on the swing is over 200Ibs (90kg), assemble the swing hardware without the use of a spring.
- During 2-person usage, account for the portion of both parties when determining the weight (e.g. one partner may be standing on the floor, not hanging from the spring)
Safety precautions:
- Once the eyelet bolt is installed, do not remove it. Doing so could weaken the eyebolt hold.
- If using the Torsion Spring, avoid putting hands on or near the spring while using your swing. Your fingers or other body parts may get pinched if too close.
- Suggested weight limit to not exceed 350Ibs (158kg)
- Install and use at your own risk
